Welcome to Ready & Able, formerly known as David LeRoy Plumbing! Although our name and brand have changed, we are still here to serve you and all of your plumbing, heating, cooling, and air quality needs!
At Ready & Able, pump services make up a large part of our business. We work on a wide variety of makes, models, and brands, and we handle all different types of pumps, including well pumps, effluent pumps, sewage pumps, booster pumps, grinder pumps, and sump pumps. We also specialize in pump controls. When it comes to pump installations, repairs, and maintenance, our plumbing professionals at Ready & Able are the best at what they do and can solve your problems quickly! We want to make sure that your plumbing system is running as efficiently as possible, and that you’re not wasting valuable money with a pump system that doesn’t function to its maximum potential.
Septic effluent pumps are used as an alternative to gravity-based septic systems and are very commonly found in Sand Mound Systems. Our area is known to use a variety of brand name pumps such as Goulds, Myers and HydroMatic. We install Goulds Effluent and Goulds Sewage pumps because they have a proven track record to be long lasting. Usually liquids in your septic system are moved from the septic tank to the field lines by gravity. Sometimes, geography and other factors don’t allow these liquids to flow naturally. When the field lines of your septic system are higher in the ground than the tank itself (or if the lines are far away from your tank), assistance is needed to make sure the liquids flow appropriately.
Installing a septic effluent pump that is sized and installed properly will help your Sand Mound septic system flow properly. Sand Mound pumps are controlled through the use of float switches to turn it on and off. They always have an alarm mounted somewhere typically inside the home and will signal with a small red light and an audible buzzer when there is a problem. Often the alarm reads Tank Alert on the cover and will have a switch that allows you to silence the horn when it sounds. If this happens stop using your plumbing and immediately call Ready & Able right away! We offer Emergency Pump Service.
We have a large amount of Myers Grinder Pump Systems in our area. Grinder Pumps are designed for use where the building waste water needs to be pumped uphill a considerable height to the public sewer system. Grinder Pump Systems often have a large gray control box mounted on the outside of the home with a red warning light that signals in the event of a high water level in the basin. When the warning light operates you should stop using water immediately and call Ready & Able. An annual maintenance plan program is available with Ready & Able to keep the grinder pump system in top operating condition.
