    Federal Tax Credits and Rebates

    Clean energy is the future, and the future is here! The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 provides federal income tax credits for a wide range of energy efficiency improvements and products. Qualifying improvements made after January 1st, 2023 are eligible for tax credits up to $3,200, and can be claimed through 2032! This includes up to $1,200 per year for certain energy efficient home improvements, and up to $2,000 per year for qualifying heat pumps.

    Many ENERGY STAR certified products are eligible for these tax credits. Choosing ENERGY STAR products makes it simple and easy for homeowners to discover smart choices for their home that are energy efficient!

    Utility Company Rebates

    Along with the federal tax incentives, many utility companies are participating in the trend towards energy efficiency and cleaner energy by offering their own rebates!


    Customers of PPL Electric Utilities can apply for a range of rebates for energy efficient home improvements. These include PPL heating and cooling rebates for products such as ductless heat pumps, smart thermostats, water heaters and more!


    Pennsylvania homeowners that are customers of UGI can also enjoy a range of rebates! UGI provides rebates for energy efficient products including smart thermostats, furnaces, boilers, tankless water heaters and more!
